Advisors

The role of the group is to advise the Foundation on developing, commissioning and running the Study, aiming to ensure it is useful, effective and has a broad impact.

The group has the following functions.

  1. To advise on research questions and help prioritise topics.
  2. To help the research team develop and apply appropriate methods, and overcome problems.
  3. To look at evidence as it emerges from the Study, to challenge the data and to carry out some interpretation.
  4. To advise the Foundation and the researchers on topics to prioritise or consider in more depth during the course of the Study.
  5. To help the Foundation evaluate the Study.
  6. To help the Foundation and the researchers transfer knowledge emerging from the Study, ensuring it reaches those with influence.
