Professor Cathy Pharoah (Chair)
Professor Cathy Pharoah is Director of Third Sector Prospect, an independent research consultancy. She is also co-director of the ESRC Centre for Charitable Giving and Philanthropy based at Cass Business School. Cathy was previously Director of Research at CAF, where she produced 11 editions of Charity Trends. Before that she worked in both universities and the health sector on health service research. Cathy publishes and presents widely, is a Fellow of the RSA, a board member of the Voluntary Sector Studies Network and of the Association of Researchers in the Voluntary and Community Sector, and an advisory board member of the Institute of Volunteering Research.
