VCS training and development
VCS training and development
With our VCS training and development budget, we provide learning opportunities and capacity building support. We do not make grants – instead, the Foundation, in consultation with others, decides on work to commission or run ourselves. We invest where we can have most effect, filling gaps in provision and prioritising under-resourced topics and locations. We focus on good governance and management, and supporting new and existing leaders.
The Foundation works with a number of partners to provide training and development opportunities.
- Project North East runs a range of courses for voluntary and community organisations on finance and covering costs, managing people, procurement, leadership and governance.
