Valuing Your Organisation
There is increasing pressure for organisations to be able to explain the value of what they do to diverse audiences. There are a wide range of methods, tools, and frameworks that can help in doing this. This workbook does not outline yet another approach; it aims to help organisations decide which approach is best for them.
The exercises in this workbook are designed for use by one person, but they can be adapted readily for use in pairs, groups or organisation-wide where that is more useful. Please use this workbook to help you reach an informed decision. It is all about the choices you have to make.
The workbook covers:
- your starting points
- your aspirations
- what your external and internal pressures are
- why it matters to you as an organisation
- what your needs/priorities are
- looks at what you already do and know
- looks at how accurate your self-image is
- looks at what’s available to you
- helps you to generate and assess a short list.
