Lorna Moran

 

Lorna Moran MBE is the Chief Executive Officer of Northern Recruitment Group plc which has offices throughout the North of England. The business has been established for over 30 years and currently employs 100 staff with a turnover of c£20m. Lorna was the first and so far only woman to be awarded the North East Businessman of the Year in 1997. She is also Chairman of the Maggie’s North East Fundraising Board and a member of Maggie’s National Campaign Board, Vice Chair of the Regional Entrepreneurs Forum which she helped establish in 2000 and sits on the CBI’s North East Regional Council. Lorna chairs the Foundation’s Staffing Committee.
