Richard Walton
Richard Walton – Programme Manager
Richard manages two programmes: Managing Money and Having a Home. Managing Money helps people who are in debt or have other financial problems and needs. Having a Home helps vulnerable people who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. Richard also oversees the Foundation’s special investments in community finance initiatives.
Richard joined the Foundation in 1998, and has overseen many of its programmes. He has been especially instrumental in developing and leading the Foundation’s work on tackling financial exclusion and worklessness, and supporting social enterprise. Previously Richard had a career as a fundraiser in the voluntary sector and also worked for a regional television company. He has an MSc in Urban Policy and Regeneration.
