Initiatives
The Foundation has run several large-scale, targeted initiatives designed to focus on particular social and economic problems. These differ from our grant programmes in that the Foundation develops the initial work, which may include external research, then commissions organisations to run demonstration projects, alongside evaluation and advocacy of the emerging models, remaining highly engaged over the lifetime of the initiative. Recent initiatives are described below.
