General Criteria

General criteria for all grant programmes.

General criteria to support sustainability and consolidation activities in each programme apply in addition to the individual criteria for the programmes.

We will encourage work to consolidate organisations and increase collaboration including:

  •  reviewing organisational focus
  •  re-structuring organisational models
  •  developing innovative delivery models and approaches
  •  diversifying income streams
  •  exploring greater partnership working, consortia development or mergers

We will consider support for:

  •  strategic and organisational reviews and business planning
  •  work to consolidate organisations e.g. costs of developing shared services
  •  innovation and development work to increase income
  •  work to develop partnerships and greater collaboration
  •  core support to help organisations continue their work in the short term where this is part of a process of achieving long term sustainability

We will seek to use our grants where possible to lever funding from other sources.
