Foundation grant update, December 2013
In December 2013, Foundation Trustees approved grants totalling £1,248,760 to help tackle disadvantage in the North East and Cumbria. Across Darlington and Durham, Darlington Credit Union was awarded £150,000 over two years to support a planned expansion of its services across the town. A grant of £60,000 was awarded to Single Homeless Action Initiative Derwentside, based on Stanley High Street, towards an advice and guidance service for homeless young people.
