Foundation grant update December 2012 & March 2013

In December 2012 & March 2013 Foundation Trustees approved grants totalling £2.465 million to help tackle disadvantage in the North East and Cumbria. Northern Money was awarded a grant of £50,000 for one year to build capacity within the credit union sector in the North East and Cumbria. A grant of £113,622 was awarded to West End Refugee Centre over three years to continue to employ a multi-lingual support worker who supports refugees and asylum seekers in Newcastle.
