Grant Applications – December 2010

In December 2010 the Trustees approved grants totalling over £1.5 million to help tackle disadvantage in the North East and Cumbria. African Community Advice North East received £75,000 to support refugees and asylum seekers in east Newcastle. Wear Valley Women?s Aid were awarded £50,000 to provide a specialised outreach programme for young female victims of domestic abuse and their children, across Wear Valley.
